They specialise in sales, service and distribution of electronics and technical products and act as customer service, warranty, returns and refurbishments for partner organisations. The job which is both varied and challenging and sits within a friendly supportive team. Generally, the role includes service and maintenance and repair to brown goods at customer premises at allocated postcodes across Midlands, primarily Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall & Worcester. Specifically, this includes warranty checks, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and modification to brown goods of all shapes and sizes, essentially anything with a plug! E.g TV, HI-Fi, Microwave, Sowing Machine etc. This is good clean multi-brand work for blue chip manufacturers & warranty providers. Ongoing training is provided and you will be cross-trained to expert level in additional manufacturers and product types! All the tools of the trade including vehicle provided. The role also requires scheduling, customer care, health and safety H&S compliance, and some paperwork. These positions can be offered on a full-time, or contract basis.
You will have
Appliance service / repair experience in brown goods. Manufacturer training/certification an advantage, multi-brand experience preferred. Strong customer service skills, good track record in maintenance/installation servicing or repairs. Plus Health and safety awareness, basic computer literacy, full driving license, and reasonable flexibility in respect to travel/hours.
