The Facilities Operations Manager role itself where your role will be to safely and effectively manage the operation of street cleansing, ensuring compliance with all legislation, regulations, and financial and budgetary parameters. The role of the Operations Manager is to ensure that operations meet service goals and key measures detailed within the Waste Services Agreement, and in line with customer expectations.
You will be expected to drive a culture of continuous improvements through a motivated workforce (150+) that reflect the vision and values of the company. As well as delivering a great customer experience, including monitoring customer feedback and ensuring queries are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner.
Hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, although flexibility is required.
You will have
To be successful as Facilities Operations Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
- 3 + years’ senior management experience, good knowledge of existing and impending environmental and health and safety legislation and waste industry experience.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen, excellent communication skills, including presentation, negotiation and consultation skills.
- IT skills are vital (particularly in Excel, Outlook and Word), as is holding a current driving licence, valid in the UK.
- Experience of employee engagement and change management programmes, along with proven experience in delivering services and achieving key results are a must.
