The Lifting Supervisor job itself where you will
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing lifting schedules. Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures and enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards. Utilise your Construction Supervisor skills to lead and manage the on-site construction team, co-ordinate and oversee all work on site, attend production meetings, review schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to these. Place orders for plant/equipment and being responsible for equipment and materials on site. Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness. Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs. Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals. Ensure that employees are fully trained in the required PPE for assigned tasks and compliance, with personal fall arrest system (PFAS). Ensure compliance for confined space entry, excavations, motorized heavy equipment, energy isolation, hot works, on, near or over water. Follow hazard elimination program (HELP).
You will have
To be successful as Lifting Supervosor you will ideally be an accomplished Lifting Supervisor with A61 Blue Card Appointed Person status. You will have technical, engineering or relevant experience in a petrochemical construction environment. Experienced in construction site supervision and able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Ideally have a valid CCNSG passport or relevant document and be able to follow safety rules as assigned by the Company. Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel
You will get
As Lifting Supervisor you will receive ~£35K-£40K pro rata on a temporary worker basis. Overtime is a possibility. Minimum Holidays are expected to be taken from late July to November.
