You will like

The Production Scheduler job itself where you will provide administrative support in order to maximize machine throughputs and efficiencies, whilst ensuring that orders are planned to be in the warehouse and ready to ship to the customers on promised date.  Your work Environment will be both office & 'shop floor' based

More specifically:

  • Create fixed production schedule
  • Ensure schedule is optimized to maximize throughput
  • Generate production schedule within given known constraints
  • Attend Daily Direction setting meeting to ensure all parties are aware of priority jobs
  • Communicating the schedule to operations, and resolving conflicting priorities
  • Communicate any issues in not meeting the schedule to Master Planner
  • Align key parties within the process of any vulnerable codes to ensure risk is minimized
  • Distribute daily revised production schedule to all necessary parties
  • Responsibility for Finished Goods Inventory
  • Participate in RCCP review as necessary
  • Drive continual improvement     
  • Maintaining effective communication with all levels in the Production area and other business function

You will have                  

  • Educated to A Level standard (or appropriate experience)
  • Minimum – 2 year experience within manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of production processes
  • Good technical, interpersonal and communication skills
