The Technical Support Analyst role itself where you will be responsible for ensuring that the business can continually and consistently meet the contractual support commitments and key performance indicators our client's business divisions place with their customers. It is an excellent opportunity to develop integrated logistics support skills whilst also gaining applied business skills in a technical environment; engaging with engineers, suppliers, and customers in a wider business context. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence systems as they develop from concept to delivery; ensuring product is designed for support throughout its full life-cycle.
More specifically:
- Collating information from multiple internal departments into professional support reports
- Ensuring support requests and maintenance tasks are dealt with by appropriate teams
- Responding to and implementing requests for post design services
- Completing task acceptance forms and documenting work plans
- Orchestrating written proposals for new contracts through the aggregation of commercial & technical content
- Invitations to tender, reviewing statements of work, and checking cost and resource estimates
You will have
To be successful as Technical Support Analyst you will meet the following requirements:
- English language A-level or equivalent years of experience
- Demonstrable experience producing high quality technical content
- Practice in the implementation of contractual arrangements
- Experience of working within: integrated logistics support, engineering, supply chain management, or operations management
Plus the following will be an advantage:
- HNC or HND in a STEM subject
- Experience in the defence environment
- Management of new product introduction projects
- Practical on-site experience of electronic systems installations
- Experience with the administration of software systems
- Comprehension of challenges inherent within manufacturing environments
- Familiarity in engaging with government agencies
- Understanding of electronic circuits or sub-systems
- Awareness of the implications of RoHS, WEEE, & REACH policies
